DISCONNECTED

Picture
This was the first film.  We shot this in 16mm.  I was involved in all aspects from fundraising to acting.  It was an awesome learning experience and we were so proud when we sold it to a video distribution company.  Although the sale was small (we received $8 from Thailand for the distribution rights), it was the catalyst that began my stint in movies!

PSYCHOS IN LOVE

Picture
My first starring role.  (I was also Associate Producer and co-writer, wrote and performed the score and lent a hand with the special effects.)  This film is a world-wide cult hit  and has just gained more fans from a recently restored re-release on DVD in the USA, a special edition in Germany and is now hitting new eyes in Denmark, Scandinavia, Belgium and the Faroe Islands.
The title inspired a band name and the movie was reworked for the stage in a summerlong production in Madison, Wisconsin of "Psychos In Love: The Play".
Loved by die-hard horror fans and non-horror fans, PIL continues to be a favorite of many critics and is gaining new fans all the time.

GALACTIC GIGOLO

Picture
Our first film in 35mm, this movie did gain a few fans and played in theatres nationwide.  Not having enough creative control can make or break a film.  This one broke a little - but elated that there is a pretty sizable fanbase!

CEMETERY HIGH

Picture

Our last film in 35mm.  One of the worst but it got us into PEOPLE MAGAZINE.  We shot this twice.  They should have released the first version.  Originally called "Assault of the Killer Bimbos", but was recycled.  (Co-wrote 1st version.  Had small role.)

As Actor only:

I SPILL YOUR GUTS 2012

MODEL HUNGER  2013

Picture
This is going to be an amazing movie!

Shot in Buffalo in July, 2012, MODEL HUNGER is virtually a "who's who" in horror cinema and a movie I feel honored to have worked on.

The cast includes Tiffany Shepis (The Hazing, Frankenstein Syndrome, Night of the Demons), Lynn Lowry (The Cat People, The Crazies), Lloyd Kaufman (President of Troma Films), Suzi Lorraine (Won Ton Baby and Billy's Cult), Brian Fortune (Game of Thrones, Wrath of the Crows), Mary Bogle (Slime City and Slime City Massacre) Michael Thurber (Murder University, Exhumed), musician Voltaire, Kaylee Williams (Slices of Life) and so many more.

First-time director, Debbie Rochon, veteran of over 200 films including Night of the Living Dead and Tromeo and Juliet, put together a crew that can boast Greg Lamberson (prolific horror author and director of Slime City and Slime City Massacre) as line producer, James Morgart (director of Won Ton Baby and screenwriter of Model Hunger) as executive producer, Wolfgang Meyer as DP with the rest of the crew consisting of people like Sam Qualiana (director of upcoming black comedy Snow Shark and several great actors from other films - including Greg's Slime City Massacre!

"COOL AS HELL" - another James Balsamo film - available now!

This one is very special to me (well, one scene, anyway) because I got to play opposite one of my favorite actresses of all time: my daughter, Annie!  It's a very funny scene with her and James.  I get to play a gypsy and she gets to play my daughter.  Perfect casting!

Some amusing moments.  And you get to see Tom Savini and James Naughton, Andrew WK and some other fun cameos!!!

Richard Griffin's "THE SINS OF DRACULA"!

This is probably going to be an extremely fun movie to watch.  We started filming last October but we'll wrap it this October, hopefully.

I get to play a vampire hunter.  Pretty cool.  Starring the best of the best ensemble actors from Rhode Island (including the talented Michael Thurber in our second film together) and directed by award-winner Richard Marr-Griffin from a script by the amazingly talented writer, Michael Varrati.

Keep an eye or two out for this one.

More coming for you to watch.  Stay tuned for more information on these!
Slated for 2013/14:
"Sins of Dracula"
"Catch of the Day"
"Mystery Meat"
Cameos:
"Vikings vs Zombies"
"Death Story"
